Based in Los Angeles, BlackCinemadb.com is an online movie database and entertainment website for fans of African-American themed films and storytelling. Our mission, quite simply, is to help promote the work of black directors, writers, actors, producers and technical crew while providing the most current and thought-provoking commentary regarding black-themed films.

Moreover, as filmmakers ourselves, we felt a social responsibility to form a more unified, collective black voice in the film industry while serving as a resource for black filmmakers around the globe. With the BlackCinemadb.com database, users can view and research hundreds of big-budget and independent films, TV movies, documentaries, classics, and notable foreign films from 1930 and beyond.
