Ryan Coogler Talks CREED and Crafting the Perfect Movie Sound

Join LA Film Festival Guest Director Ryan Coogler as he presents clips from Creed and Fruitvale Station and talks with composer Ludwig Göransson and sound designer Steve Boeddeker about how the perfect soundscape can be achieved, no matter if it’s at the studio or the indie level.

Coogler will also discuss how sound design and music made critical contributions to the emotional journey of Creed. Whether it was the sound of the glove hitting a cheek, the roar of the crowd, or the satisfaction of hearing the classic Rocky theme during the climactic fight, sound and music drove this film.
